The American people correctly view a John McCain victory in 2008 as a third term for George W. Bush, given Grandpa's support for the half assedly conceived and incompetently executed Bush foreign and domestic agenda. On almost every issue, McAint's positions are identical to Bush: He reversed course to support making Bush's fiscally disastrous tax cuts that he twice previously opposed. Like Bush, Grandpa opposes the expansion of the SCHIP program for children's health care, and supported Bush when he called for the wildly unpopular privatization of Social Security. He wants to overturn Roe v. Wade; and will add more Supreme Court justices like John Roberts and Samuel Alito. He and Bush are in lockstep when its comes to Iran and Iraq, so much so that although Bush wants to stay in Iraq for 50 years, Grandpa says, "Make it a hundred."
